Quarterly Paid Activities

Q1: SoundWave Festival (Jan 20-22, 2026)

Event: 3-day music festival with local bands, workshops (production, vocals, songwriting).

Target: Families, youth, musicians.

Cost: 20,000 UGX/entry, kids under 12 free with adult.

Venue: AWMP grounds, Arua.

Schedule:

  • Day 1 (Jan 20): Opening concert (6 PM–10 PM), workshops (10 AM–4 PM).
  • Day 2 (Jan 21): Local bands competition (10 AM–6 PM), night concert (7–10 PM).
  • Day 3 (Jan 22): Worship night (6–8 PM), closing ceremony.

Topics:

  • Workshops: "Vocal Techniques for Worship," "Music Production with Ableton."
  • Performances: G7 Band, local gospel artists, student showcase.

Logistics: Sound system, stage setup. Food stalls (local snacks, drinks). Tickets online/offline, wristbands for entry.

Q2: Gospel Music Camp (Apr 6-10, 2026)

Event: 5-day camp for ages 8-18, focusing on worship songwriting, vocals.

Cost: 150,000 UGX (includes meals, materials).

Venue: AWMP campus.

Q4: G7 Worship Concert (Nov 28, 2026)

  • 6–7 PM: Doors open, pre-service worship.
  • 7–9 PM: Main concert (G7 Band, guests).

Venue: Starting at AWMP campus, touring key spots in Arua town (e.g., market square, churchyards).

Program:

  • 4:00 PM: Gather at AWMP for rehearsal and briefing.
  • 4:30 PM: Begin caroling tour (songs like "Jingle Bells", "Silent Night", "Feliz Navidad").
  • 5:30 PM: Stop at Arua market square for a mini-concert and interaction.
  • 6:00 PM: End with hot cocoa distribution and photo ops.

Logistics: Portable speakers, microphones. Casual festive attire (optional hats/scarves). Printed lyrics, decorations (stars, lights). Volunteers for crowd control, first aid kit.

Promotion: Posters in AWMP, local churches, schools. Social media posts. Radio announcement on local stations.
